Donation for A Night of Safe Shelter
Practice Alms-Gifting by making a gift of $25 to Catholic Charities of Acadiana on your behalf or in honor of a friend or loved one! This donation will provide a night of safe shelter to those experiencing homelessness.Â
In March 2018, Catholic Charities of Acadiana made the decision not to turn anyone away who came to us for shelter, regardless of our bed capacity. We offered blankets and mats for them to sleep on our shelter floor. We committed to make room at our inn for Christ. It was simply the right thing to do.
Since that day, we have welcomed an additional 40+ people over capacity each night into our downtown shelter.Â
